我的cpu是Sempron，小弟看到這兩個linux image ，搞不懂那一個才是最新的kernel??

還有我想要開機時像B2D一樣有一個漂亮的企鵝圖片。是不是一定得重新編譯核心呢？看起來好像很難@@

不好意思，問題很笨！

基本上你只要裝 Linux kernel 2.6 image on AMD K7 這個套件即可, 它會依據目前最新的更新來自動安裝最新的2.6版本的核心。
例如 Linux 2.6.18 image on AMD K7, 當有2.6.19或更高的版本時, 你只要APT-GET就會自動更新KERNEL為2.6.19版了。

要安裝開機圖片請從GRUB的設定檔下手即可。

你是說在打boot:指令時的圖片嗎？
這是屬於開機管理程式的事，不用重編核心。
B2D用的是lilo開機管理程式（要打指令）
debian預設的是grub開機管理程式（有游標的選單介面）
看你是用哪個，再以lilo或grub加相關詞彙請教google應該就可以找到。

還有一個東西叫 bootsplash
在 Debian 裡面用得要重編 kernel

不知道啥時才會直接有這功能.
