[問題]XF86Config-4 把Truetype轉作xtt不能進入xwindow

把truetype改作xtt後就不能進入xwindow了
請問那應該怎樣解決..

安裝了新細明體後在mozilla字型那裏都好像看不到新細明體和arphic
這又是什麼原因呢..

還有怎麼可以reconfig debconf呢
因為display選了gnome後好像出現error..

最後就是gaim裏的status icon(nickname左邊的那個)可以調整大小的嗎..現在的好像有點過大了

o..還有就是從console切換到xwindow後會自己scroll了和按了right click..即使我的滑鼠沒有動...這個又是什麼的問題呢?

你使用的應該是unstable的xfree86，所以請另外安裝xfs-xtt，來管理字型。

如何叫出debconf的設定：dpkg-reconfigure package_name

幾乎不用，因為xfs-xtt會將XF86Config-4中的FontPath轉成/etc/X11/fs-xtt/config中的字型路徑。

but still cannot choose mingliu and arphic in mozilla.

請確定你的XF86Config-4中的FontPath有"unix:7110"

然後跑xfs-xtt這個service在重新開啟x-win

將XF86Config-4中的FontPath只留下unix：7110，其他移除掉。

這個錯誤訊息滿奇怪的，如果確定有該目錄的話，可以檢查一下目錄權限的問題，或是另外在用defoma-font重新註冊hints檔案。

i changed freetype into truetype

anyway..There are a few problems coming up..

1. I can't open emacs in xwindow..error msg below
