Anti_Aliased Fonts in Stable environment

At first, I'm sorry that I didn't install "xcin" , so Chinese input is not possible for me right now..

I've installed debian 3.0r1 by CD-ROMs..
and I am using XFree86 4.2.1.1
with KDE 3.1.4 from
http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.4/Debian stable main
and ,I have installed FontConfig by backport.

I can see ?AR PL Mingti 2L Big5" now..
But the Anti-Aliases function doesn't work at all.
(I've installed libxft2 2.1.2-4 also)
I know that the anti-aliases function works with KDE packages in "UNSTABLE" .
But what I want is "stable" with "backport" environment..

What should I do??

hmm...那可能要問官方的kde怎麼包了..

因為woody並沒有fontconfig，所以官方編譯qt3時，應該是disable了fontconfig，並且以xft1的方式來處理。

所以用fontconfig並不會讓stable的kde3有anti-alias，請參考xft1的文件。

請修改
/etc/X11/XftConfig

加入 dir "/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType"

然後重開x-win，kde就能有AA的功能。

ps：小弟建議使用workstation的朋友可以另外參考弟的testing backport，因為for desktop的新功能在testing皆有，少的只是kde3，
而目前弟是因為沒有網路空間提供ftp，所以無法放出..
