help,xcin can't enter chinese?

I already install xcin(apt-get install xcin),but it' just can input engulish , i type crtl+shift also can't change to chinese input , could someone to help me , thanks everyone very much ^^

其實..在我自己的debian上,$HOME/.xinitrc 加入這些東東,
會進不了kde,我是把它加在/etc/X11/底下的某一個scriptl裡面才OK 的,不知是啥原因

How do you start X window? From console (e.g., startx) or login at a graphic interface (e.g., kdm)?

使用 kdm 的情況是，/etc/profile 和 ~/.bashrc...等等的設定並不會被讀進來。如果想要使用 kdm，又想要 export 一些環境變數，可以加在 /etc/environment ，或者也可以加在 /etc/kde3/kdm/Xsession 裡面 (kde2 的使用者則是修改 /etc/kde2/kdm/Xsession)。

1. 加在 /etc/environment 的範例：

代碼: 選擇全部

LANG=zh_TW.Big5
LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5
XMODIFIERS=@im=xcin


至於 xcin 可以在進入 X 以後，開啟終端機，輸入 xcin& 就可以了。

2. 加在 /etc/kde3/kdm/Xsession (/etc/kde2/kdm/Xsession) 的範例：

代碼: 選擇全部

export LANG=zh_TW.Big5
export LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5
export XMODIFIERS=@im=xcin
exec xcin&


進入 X 後，xcin 就已經自動載入了。

不好意思
我的英文不太好,各位大大可能誤會我的意思了,我的問題是我可以看得到xcin的畫面,可是他永遠是英數輸入法,不能換到其他的,請問一下這該枕麼解決呢??

Okay then I have some idea.

If I remember correctly, Debian does not use the ~/.xinitrc scheme to configure your X window. Try instead write everthing in ~/.xsession (if it does not exist, create it). Of course do not forget the last "exec <YOUR_WINDOW_MANAGER>" line. See if this works.

I am also a newbie to linux. So please correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

I am just _guessing_ here, it may not work or may be wrong at all --

But what will happen if you write your ~/.xsession like this:

代碼: 選擇全部

if [ -f /etc/X11/Xsession ]
then
    source /etc/X11/Xsession
fi
# Your xcin settings...
...
# Your window manager
exec ...


I am also new to Linux and do not know much about the X setup process. This is just a wild guess and please correct me if I am wrong.

help , i already install libtabe-db and libtabe2 , and i edit the .xinitrc .xsession , i can see the xcin window but i just can't change it to the chinese input, could anyone tells me what happened

弟的意思是當您在切換輸入法、還有試著輸入的時候，是否有任何錯誤訊息？Debian 的 xcin package 之前有一個版本有 library 缺少正確的 link 的問題，只有在切換輸入法的時候才會出現錯誤訊息。雖然說最新的版本應該沒有這個問題，不過弟還是希望您試試看。

開個 xterm ，然後：

# export LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5
# export XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin"
# xcin &
# crxvt &

跳到剛剛執行的 crxvt ，然後按 ctrl+space 叫出 xcin
輸入中文看看..
