VMWARE+Debian 無法顯示Xwindow

小弟是剛學Linux所以有很多問題希網大大們可以交交我謝謝!

小弟在NB上安裝VMWARE+Debian 卻無法顯示Xwindow
錯誤訊息如圖

我在桌上型電腦沒有用VMWARE則很順利的看到Xwindow
我也是看無痛起步這本書 ^^[/img]

請記得要裝 vmware-tools 哦！
這樣子 XFree86 會跑得比較快一點...

好像要放在背景跑.....我看vmware官方網站是這樣寫的

但是我不知道怎樣放在背景自動執行耶...

VMware 的 Linux vmware-tools 是以 vmware-linux-tools.tar.gz 存放在 VMware 的虛擬光碟機中，
您必須先掛載光碟機、
把 vmware-linux-tools.tar.gz 複製到 /tmp（或其它您喜歡的目錄）下、
將其解壓縮、
進入解開的 vmware-tools-distrib 下，
執行 vmware-install.pl 即可。


而個人則只有取其 vmware_drv.o，
不過這則是個人的喜好了...

那請問這個問題怎麼解決呢?
可是我的確有vmware_drv.o這個檔案呀,
我是用vmware 4.0.5 + debian 3.0r2
按照無痛起步法來安裝.
在安裝完基本的系統之後,
tesksel的l部分什麼都沒有選.
裝完之後,在souces.list裡加了.
deb http://debian.linux.org.tw/debian woody main non-free contrib
deb http://debian.linux.org.tw/debian-non-US woody/non-US main non-free contrib
執行下列指令
apt-get install xlibs xserver-xfree86 xbase-clients xfonts-base xterm
再來就是執行
startx
然後就出現錯誤訊息了~~
站上也沒有人有同樣的問題.
拜託前輩幫我看一看,謝謝.
(雖然有無痛起步法,但我還是全身痛... )

我是裝VMWare上,
我的顯示卡是選vmware,
螢幕就不知道選什麼了.
就選simple->15吋.
這會影響安裝結果嗎?

我試試安裝vmware tools看看.
