[問題]xwin改解析度 and 網路卡不見了

Hello,我昨天先裝好netist.iso (sarge 版本)後,跑apt-get裝了xwin/kde/gnome等一堆xwindow上的東西,全部抓回後自動安裝完成,setup也跑完了,在console下打startx進入xwindow也可以(不過當時我忘記可以先設定XF86Config-4),後來重開機就都給我直接進入gdm的管理模式,只是都是跑800x600的解析度,refresh freq也跑太高了,我嚐試用dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86重新設定,不過怎麼改我發現在/etc/X11/XF86Config-4就是都沒變化(就算我重新啟動xwindow,或是重開機後),用xrandr看,雖然預設的是1024x768@60Hz,不過就是給我跑800x600@87Hz的解析度,不懂到底是怎麼回事,我的電腦很舊了,Celere466, 128MB ram, SIS6326 8MB PCI vedio-card,應該不會不支援吧?

另外,我本來是用pppoe抓了一堆deb安裝,但是第一重開機進入xwindow後,pppoe就不能用了,錯誤訊息是說沒有eth0,我需要修改哪個檔案...

ps,手上沒有兩台電腦,所以不能把錯誤訊息或XF86Config-4貼上來給大家幫我看看.

先看一下 /etc/X11/ 目錄
是XF86Config-4 還是XF86Config

可以直接改/etc/X11/XF86Config-4的內容
(HorizSync, VertRefresh及DefaultDepth)

我也直接改過/etc/X11/XF86Config-4過,不論是16bit/24bit,
垂直/水平顯示頻率都改過,但重新啟動xwin就是不見變化.

要重新啟動x-server才對.

   md5sum /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 > /var/lib/xfree86/XF86Config-4.md5sum
   dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

試試看這樣子～就可以直接用 dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
設定 x window system 了
