Xorg版的server 可以幫忙除錯一下嗎`？

昨天一晚沒睡 想嘗試安裝X.org
卻只把原來正常的window攪的亂七八糟

好加在還可以進視窗打字。。。。

大致上為何種的錯誤。。。。。

大致上為何種的錯誤。。。。。

假定 X.org 本身沒有 bug 的情況下, 這個看起來像是用錯 header file 的結果,, 請先檢查一遍你編譯 X.org 所需的 glibc/gcc... 等等安裝無誤, 並檢查 make World 一開始檢查你系統類別的時候有沒有出錯,, 這個問題可能不是真的在死掉的這個地方, 需要多一些資料才看得出來.

可以進去了 確定是Xorg！！！
可是glxgears只剩下200分 之前最高300
其他還沒發現什麼不一樣的地方

我也不知道為啥 把那行刪掉就進去了x了

X.Org 是從XFREE86改協議以前那個版本分支出來的。加了一些
bug fix和清理工作．

1.Config檔不吃XF86Config-4，變回XF86Config

其實是該用 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 才對, 為了不要用到 XFree86 的商標，X.org 作了以下修改 (from X11R6.7.0 Readme):

Trademark law requires that there be no ambiguity about the use of a trademark, so the documentation, error message, name of the X executable, configuration file name, etc., have all been changed to avoid confusion of X.Org's implementation with the XFree86[tm] trademarked implementation. Some of the changes made include:

• The name of the X server is Xorg, rather than XFree86.
• The name of the X server configuration file is /etc/X11/xorg.conf rather than /etc/X11/XF86Config. If xorg.conf does not exist, the server will look for the old name.
• The config file and servername in xorg.cf is build time configurable.
• The vendor string was updated to "X.Org Foundation".
• The X server's log file name was changed to Xorg.?.log.
• xf86cfg was renamed xorgcfg.
• xf86config was renamed xorgconfig.
• All messages emitted by the server in the log were updated to reflect the change in name.
• The module loader was modified to accept either XFree86 generated modules or X.Org generated modules.
• Manual pages and other documentation was updated.

我剛好相反,我的Xorg-6.7.0上的glxgears的分數比Debian(sid) Xfree86 4.3.0要來得高(560 v.s. 730) 我的繪圖晶片是Ati Radeon M7,
順便一提,XF86Config-4和xorg.conf的內容是可以流用而沒有問題的.

我也是(make install前忘記備份原來的 X11R6),不過,so far so good.
