[問題]problem about xcin and screen

i installed debian useing sarge beta4 yesterday
but when i got in kde,the xcin did not work and the mode of the screen is 832x624 for largest selection

ps
1. my agp card is g400 , and i set 1152x864 in XF86Config-4

2. i set the xcin in my .xinitrc
export XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin"
exec xcin &

thanks, that's works , but before i export LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5, the locale is zh_TW in defult
why it's not work ??

and how to solve the mode of the sreen

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

it dosen't work

i even change 1152x864 to 1024x768
but the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 is still 1152x864
