desktop problem!

hi all~~

now i using xfce4 desktop..but i get some problem with it!

i set locale to "zh_TW.Big5"
and when i under text mode..
i type the command "locale" .. it show " zh_TW.BIG5 "
but after i enter the desktop(xfce4)..
i typed the command "locale" ..it show " zh_TW.UTF-8 "
and i cant start xcin..(so i cant type chinese! sorry for my poor english i can read chinese)

plz help me , thx!

i use xfterm4..and startx xcin..

xcin: error : C locate "zh_TW.UTF-8" is not sussported by yuor ststem.

why x win set my locate to "zh_TW.UTF-8"?

xfterm4 只是一個 script
預設會啟動 x‐terminal‐emulator 這個由
update‐alternatives 管理的連結
也許你的是設成 uxterm 這個 unicode xterm 了
這樣會讓你的在這個 terminal 裡預設的 locale 變成 zh_TW.UTF-8
用 update-alternatives --config x-terminal-emulator 查查看吧..

ok..我把uxterm換成xterm了...
進x win開終端機locale一切正常了...
