xcin + resolution problems

Hi,I am just a newbie in Debian.....I have a few problems

I can't use xcin,everytime when I type xcin in Konsole,it displays such message:

代碼: 選擇全部

XCIN (Chinese XIM server) version 2.5.3-pre2.
(module ver: 20010918, syscin ver: 20000210).
(use "-h" option for help)

xcin: locale "zh_HK" encoding "big5hkscs"
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

And the other problem is why i can't use 1024 x 768 in VMWare whether I chose 60 Hz,70Hz or 75Hz,has a way to fix it?

請試著將 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 的 Monitor 區段修改如下：

代碼: 選擇全部

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier      "Generic Monitor"
        HorizSync       28-50
        VertRefresh     43-75
        Option          "DPMS"
EndSection

試試看能否解決您的問題？
