ipw2100 無線網路安裝問題

我也是#modprobe ipw2100
沒問題!
但#iwconfig
卻找不到該網卡?

iwconfig 找不到的話，會不會是你的 firmware 放的位置它找不到呢？
它預設是抓 /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/*.fw
還有 /etc/firmware/*.fw

你查查看這兩個目錄是不是都存在，有沒有打錯字之類的小出槌情形。

因為我這邊也是下個 iwconfig， 配置成 wireless 的 eth1 就會找到了

看了一下,
只有/usr/lib/hotblug/firmware/*.fw
沒有/etc/firmware/*.fw
於是我又copy了一份過去,
還是不行(沒有打錯字的情形)!!

應該是 /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/*.fw

如果只是你這篇 post 打錯字的話
大這個問題就還要再看看了

也許你可以再看看當你下 iwconfig 的時候，
/var/log/syslog 有沒有什麼多出來的 message?

那個人把 hotplug 重新手動安裝就好了

順便先檢查一下，你的 /etc/default/hotplug 這個檔
裡面的 NET_AGENT_POLICY 是不是 "=all" ?

我是改成
NET_AGENT_POLICY=all

改好之後， reboot 看看 hotplug 有沒有幫你把 ipw2100 弄好

今天抽空便把它(ipw2100)全砍了再裝一遍,
於是ok了

不過真奇怪.....過程與昨天一樣,
程式也是舊的沒有重抓,
但他就是ok了
真搞不懂.....

其實在之前的電腦就已使用無線網路了，
但之前的網卡不是intel的，
只要使用內建的程式再更改設定即可......方便多了！

昨天也順便搞了一下acpi，
休眠狀態正常，
不過似乎還不完美，
休眠起來可正常工作也可抓到滑鼠，
但滑鼠約使用十分鐘左右就掛掉了
有時間再努力一下吧！
