請問在linux有類似everest這種完整偵測出您的硬體的軟體嗎?
之前有人提到過lshw，但似乎不夠完整

剛找到一個Sysinfo，但是好像要錢:-o ，不過可以download demo版試用

沒用過lshal..Debian裡面有嘛?
我是覺得lshw超神的拉..
連CPU L1 L2都可以弄的很清楚..write back ,write through都寫出來

因為小弟在用 ubuntu ，也不確定 debian 是否有，不過查得到 lshal 是在 hal 套件裡面

ㄜ...提醒一下使用kernel 2.6的朋友
如果你裝hal的話.apt會自動幫你裝hotplug..
hotplug會載入一些不需要的.或是過時的module..
像是..他給我嘗試載入OSS..然後我的alsaconf就不能用..也不知道怎麼弄出聲音
USB滑鼠也偵測不到的樣子..
害我以為主機板還是音效卡壞掉了..哎哎..一個經驗
如果你裝hal的話.apt會自動幫你裝hotplug..

小弟用 hotplug 不會有這種情況喔！
大部分的人使用 hotplug 應該都會很快樂，畢竟不必自己處理大多數的 module 問題
若不想讓 hotplug 載入某個 module，也是可以設定 blacklist 的。

hmm...那我可能最不快樂的那一個人了...
小弟三台電腦用hotplug都有找出kernel bug...><且是會當機的那種，都已經提交到 BTS了，目前是使用 Kernel-2.4+hotplug才穩定的..

我也很討厭 hotplug, 每次的使用經驗都很不愉快...
還是自己設定 modules 比較放心
