looking for a good tool for code tracing

I am looking for a good tool for code tacing, can anyone give me a suggestion?
I know Source Insight and SourceNavigator do the job quite well, but the reason I am looking for an alternatives is that SourceInsight COSTS, and SourceNavigator is a bit slow on searching functions, macros, and etc...
