I have typing and fonts problems

i have xcin but i still cannot type chinese words in GNOME
which buttons should i press? Ctrl+Shift doesn't work

i have "AR PL KaitiM Big5" font
but some words cannot show correctly
why?

xcin 大概是 locale 的問題，先 ps 看看有沒有啟動
字型... 是因為有些字體沒安裝嗎？

how to start xcin?
doesn't it start automatically?
what kinds of font should i install?

To automatically launch xcin, users can add the following lines in the file, e.g., .xsession.

代碼: 選擇全部

export XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin"
exec /usr/bin/xcin &

我現在只能在gedit用點右鍵選擇輸入法(SCIM Input Method)的方式打中文
可是這種方式在其他程式無效

我另外開一個終端機執行scim -d

monster@debian-fool:~$ scim -d
Smart Common Input Method 1.0.2

Launching a SCIM process with x11...
SCIM has been successfully launched.

他會出現一樣的trayicon可是卻沒辦法切換中文輸入法
我還需要其他的設定嗎？
