升級到unstable後不能開啟xcin

請教諸位先進前輩一個問題:
原先用stable　於昨日升級至unstale後發生以下狀況　
１．在xwindow環境開啟terminal無法顯示中文
(於console執行zhcon可以)
2．無法以Ctrl+Space開啟xcin
3．xmms的選單中文變成亂碼　　　　

請問是哪裡出錯了?該如何解決這些問題?
以下是進入xwindow後切換回console看到的最後幾行字

輸入xcin螢幕顯示結果是

您這次昇級恐怕將系統環境變成utf-8

兩個解決方案

1.全面使用utf-8

執行 dpkg-reconfigure locales
把zh_TW.Big5設成預設

看起來應該是找不到這三個目錄的東西，但是這三個目錄都已經消失了
其他人dist-upgrade到unstable都沒遇到中文顯示與輸入的問題嗎?真羨慕你們。我真是苦命，連一個中文輸入法都要與我做對。

有！.. 我有遇到中文字體全部變大的現象！
現在字體調成12才等於之前調成9的小...
也就是調成9時，已經變的更小，小到看不見了！

另外升級前，我的msn不會出現「方格字」...
對方的特殊暱稱字樣都會完整顯示，結果現在都變成「框框字」了！

而我是使用 gcin ...
並沒有遇到輸入法出問題.... (謝天謝地)
