[請教] apt-get 可以每天定期自動更新嗎?

請問一下,

apt-get 可以每天定期自動更新嗎?
要打什麼樣指令才能自動更新呢?

因為我每天要處理的事情很多,
怕會忘了要去做更新的動作,
若能有個定時自動去更新的指令是最好了,
但我一直找不到文件?

可以在 /etc/cron.daily 中建立一個 script
例如 daily-update.sh
內容如下：

aptitude update
aptitude upgrade
然後將 daily-update.sh 改為可執行檔即可
chmod +x daily-update.sh

建議在更新時使用 aptitdue，不要再使用 apt-get
因為官方說明檔中有這樣一段描述：
「在進行昇級的測試中顯示，sarge 版的 aptitude 在昇級過程中，對於處理複雜的相依上的問題，它的表現比 apt-get 或 woody 版的 aptitude 更為出色。」

套件升級應該要在管理人員監控下進行，只讓機器自動安裝會有很多問題的。

從 ubuntu 看來的，也可以建立下面的 autoupdate 檔案，好處是可以觀看 /var/log/aptitude 紀錄檔，還匯寄 email 給系統管理者，知道過去更新了什麼。
