【AMD64 平台套件的發展狀態】
Chris Cheney <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2004/06/msg00002.html">表示</a> Debian 的 AMD64 平台套件已準備好要納入 unstable 系統。這個平台已編譯完成97 %的套件，剩下的部份則是在其他平台上也有編譯困難的套件。


【更新 Debian 傳單】
Michael Banck 正在<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-events-eu/2004/06/msg00032.html">更新</a> Debian 的<a href="http://www.debian.org/events/materials/flyers/general/">通用傳單</a>。雖然這是一份通用傳單，但是某些部份還是需要更新以便能更恰當的反應 sarge 以及其他釋出版本的現況。


【打包 Firefox 0.9】
Eric Dorland <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2004/06/msg00557.html">問到</a>該如何處理 Firefox 下一個候選版本的打包。因為 Sarge 很快就要正式發佈了，而他不希望他所打包的 Firefox 新版本在進入 Sarge 的同時伴隨著許多潛在的臭蟲。Anthony Towns <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2004/06/msg00560.html">建議</a>他應儘快的把新版本的 Firefox 放入 Debian 的體驗(<code>experimental</code>)版本中以便觀察是否能如預期般的順利運作。如果過程順利的話，那麼就可以輕鬆的把新版的 Firefox 移到 unstable 系統。


【說明文件的授權模式】
Matthieu Delahaye <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00053.html">問到</a>一個上游專案(upstream project)對於他們的說明文件該使用何種授權模式。某位作者為這份<a href="ftp://plg.uwaterloo.ca/pub/uSystem/u++-5.0.ps.gz">軟體</a>寫了一份說明文件，但是該文件的授權書與 <a href="http://www.debian.org/social_contract#guidelines">Debian 自由軟體指引(DFSG)</a>並不相容。Walter Landry <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00054.html">建議</a>說明文件的授權方式最好跟該軟體的授權方式一致，不要各自使用不相同的授權方式。


【編譯上的循環相依性】
Jeroen van Wolffelaar <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00113.html">留意</a>到 <a href="http://packages.debian.org/oaklisp">oaklisp</a> 包含一個用來做初始化(bootstrapping)的二進位檔案。在 Debian 當中至少有半打類似這樣的<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00116.html">循環</a>狀況。Edmund Grimley Evans <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00114.html">認為</a>這種編譯上的循環相依性在 Debian 中是可以接受的。


【Mozilla 公共授權】
Jim Marhaus <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00177.html">注意到</a>新的 <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/MPL-1.1.html">Mozilla 公共授權 1.1 版</a>與 Debian 自由軟體指引(DFSG)並不相容，因此他紀錄了一份<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2004/06/msg00221.html">摘要草稿</a>。這個事件的影響僅及於 Mozilla 本身，因為其他相關的套件(Firebird, OpenH323, Bugzilla 等...)尚未以這個新版的授權書發佈。


【Debian 核心的維護】
Christoph Hellwig 為 Sarge 版本的核心<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2004/06/msg00008.html">編列</a>了一份簡短的待辦事項並<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2004/06/msg00018.html">詢問</a>除了 i386、powerpc 和 ia64 以外是否有其他平台的版本目前也在從事核心 2.6 版的相關工作。Martin Michlmayr 也<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2004/06/msg00037.html">增補</a>了一些維護上的日常注意事項。此外，William Lee Irwin II 則<a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2004/06/msg00104.html">列了</a>一份需要特別加以處理或從核心中移除的問題檔案黑名單。
