I think in woody the first problem is FreeType.

I have tried to backport freetype, fontconfig and xft to woody. But freetype in woody is 2.0.9, and many packages depend on it. And if you force to upgrade it, some dependence will fail (they require freetype (=2.0.9)), and some packages will not work (e.g. OpenOffice.org woody backport is known to be broken with freetype 2.1.4).

So I think it's nearly impossible to backport these font packages to woody... 8-(

U got the point...

I also did the backport of OpenOffice to woody and failed...

some of the packages need to upgrade to satisfy the new software feature.

So...If really need some feature about the font mech, try testing and unstable is better...

請問一下，
我的 Mozilla (1.4-2) 不知何時，
中文字型的粗體字的變化都不見了，
英文字型的粗體字倒是沒問題，
而不管中英字型斜體字都沒有問題。

我用的中文字型全是文鼎標楷體。

我把螢火飛大哥的中文 Patch 都上去了，
而在 MLTerm 中看起來粗體似乎是沒有問題的，
那麼問題可能出在哪裡呢？
