[問題]290頁升級Debian的問題

當我按照書上用書附的光碟做好簡易安裝之後，想要按照２９０　　頁升級
　　１. 先 vi /etc/atp/sources.list　將stable全部改成unstable但是在 security　那個http連結，是改成testing，
因為改成unstable，apt-get update會發生錯誤

　　２. 執行 apt-get update，ＯＫ...　馬上執行 apt-get dist-upgrade，一開始都很順利，但是之後卻出現了錯誤訊息，如下：

Setting up exim( 3.36-9.1 )...
hostname: Host name lookup failure
hostname --fqdn gave non-zero exit code 256
dpkg: error processing exim( --configure ):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of mailx:
mailx depends on mail-transport-agent; however;
Package mail-transport-agent is not installed.
Package exim which provides mail-transport-agent is not configured yet.

dpkg: error processing mailx( --configure ):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

Errors were encounted while processing:
exim
mailx

E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned on error code(1)

有用關鍵字　exim or mailx　查詢過，也有在這個書上的討論版看過，可是都沒有找到相關的解決辦法，麻煩您了，感謝。

第一個問題：security 只針對 stable 才有，所以testing/unstable 皆沒有 security，所以請去掉，您可以參考書本P18的說明

第二個問題呢：這有可能是該套件有錯誤造成升級過程出錯，可以等待幾天看有無 bug fix，至於 testing 請您安裝，昨天安裝一台 stable -> testing 正確無誤呢...

從 Debian 3.0 woody (stable) 直接升級到 unstable 雖然不是不可行,
但可能會常常發生錯誤, 建議你先升級到 testing 過一下水, 再升級 unstable 試試。

又, unstable 常常有狀況, 對新人來說可能會比較刺激,
如果不是有需要或真的很想玩, 通常 testing 會比較好一點, 不過這都看你囉！
