系統過個十幾分鐘，就會定隔幾秒鐘，請問是什麼原因阿

BBS上站人數越多，定格的時間越久，越頻繁
用 top 看不出來，因為當定格的時候，top 也定格

另外，kernel 是自己編的，kernel 中有哪些東西可能造成這個問題
我也有用Raid，不過是Raid卡，有自己的處理器，算是半軟體的RAID卡

會發生這樣的狀況有很多可能性.

我自己遇到都是因為記憶體不足, 加了記憶體後就明顯改善.

看您提供的資訊中, Swap 並沒有因記憶體不足被使用到, 我以前用 386DX-33 加
64 MB RAM在 FreeBSD或Linux上, 跑一個 100 人的BBS站還未遇過這樣的狀況.

若只看硬體部份, 像HD或網路流量都有可能.

用top看的時候，就是top最多
不然通常其他process都不超過1%的使用率
除非bbs有在統計資料....
不過平時就會定格了....而且定格的時候...top也定格...就好像整台電腦死當
看不出所以然....

我猜可能是硬碟分割區過大.....50g.....我的 /home

所以寫journal的時候...就會讓整個系統停擺

這麼簡單的問題...就好解決了....
