grub-install的問題

當我執行#grub-install /dev/hda
/dev/hda does not have any corresponding BIOS drive

可是我確定/dev/hda是可以用的
# df

是否有使用devfs呢？

其實這個訊息不需要care，等他跑完之後，grub依然可以用。

我也有使用devfs
這個訊息出來後....就直接跳出安裝了.....結果是...沒有安裝...

我也是用devfs，也出現這樣的訊息。

grub-install /dev/hda
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part2 does not have any corresponding BIOS drive.

但開機有正確的grub選單呢。

我也是出現這樣的訊息because I move my system from hda to sda
so 請檢查/boot/grub/device.map
it is ok to me now

delete device.map
grub-install --recheck /dev/hda
or grub-install --root-directory=/boot --recheck /dev/hda , if you have a seperate boot partition which mounted at /boot
