有相當多的Debian stable backport...要把stable當作desktop應該是很輕鬆了...

add these line into the sources.list

deb http://www.backports.org/debian stable all

有需要的就用用看吧...

有個疑問？
package要怎麼填壓？

意思是說：
要裝什麼軟體就打什麼ㄇ？

例如：
deb http://www.backports.org/debian stable gaim

？？
是這樣ㄇ？如果是這樣，那我怎麼去得知該套件放在那個名字的目錄下？

一般來說一但 release 成 stable 之後.. 軟體除非有 security update 否則將不會更新..雖然說 stable 很穩定..但通常 desktop 使用上都會希望用到比較新的軟體如 Mozilla , openoffice 之類的...

一方面希望有 stable 的穩定環境一方面又希望能用到新軟體..於是 backports 就在這樣的需求下產生了... backports 的目的就是非 debian 官方..但是卻把一些軟體的新版包成 for debian stable 使用... 這樣一來想要穩定環境的朋友就可以享受 stable 又可以嚐到新軟體..

我想問問樓上的code是在那個檔案的
是不是給apt-get用的??但不是自動會取用第一個source的嗎
e.g:我第一個source是http://ftp.hk.debian.org
我每次用apt-get install也看到packages從這個網站下載的啊
可以詳解給我知嗎,,,

因為我的網路實在粉慢，我可以把他整個backport mirror下來嗎？

如果可以不知道該怎麼下指令呢？
