無力到極點Vmware GSX Server On Debian

用Debian有個簡單的X+Fvwm95使用55mb ram，我看上它想拿它來做Vmware GSX Server測試(太省記憶體了)。
Woody系統安裝完，加上最簡式的X+Fvmw95就碰壁了,安裝程式說
我的kernel是gcc 2.9 compiler要我用gcc3.34，於就compiler kernel，沒想到重新編譯完後安裝，還需要kernel source ，裝完了
欲告訴我說
The Directory of kernel headers (version @@VMWARE@@ UTS_RELEASE) does not match your running kernel(version 2.4.26). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.
不會吧!在Redhat RPM裝了就行玩了說

compiler kernel，沒想到重新編譯完後安裝，還需要kernel source ，裝完了

請問以上這個步驟您是做了些什麼呢 ??

我是用gcc 3.3.4重新編譯kernel，打包成deb把kernel-image-2.4.26-1.deb copy出來，重新安裝Debian woody 3.0r2，再用
之前編出來的deb升級kernel，安裝vmware gsx server for Linux，安裝過程中它需要make,gcc,/usr/src/linux/include
目前卡在/usr/src/linux/include(安裝kernel-source，再做soft-link)秀出之前post的訊息。
