mc無法收起filetree

我用的是mc 4.5.55-1.2(woody 3.0r0)
我用tree模式瀏覽檔案時展開的目錄
當我想要用F3去收起該目錄時
卻出現錯誤訊息

** CRITICAL **: file treestore.c: line 550 (tree_store_remove_entry): assertion `ts.check_name !=NULL' failed.

目錄始終收不起來
於是乎...我展開過的目錄就永遠存在^^;
我去下載他的source package也找到有問題的那一行
但是如果修改他的source似乎就不能順利dpkg-buildpackage
(或許是因為我對Debian source package格式不熟|||)
怪怪...我在Debian bug report找不到到類似的抱怨
卻在國外gnome討論區看到有人抱怨一模一樣的問題
他也是去修改source(偏偏我沒辦法)

有人遇到類似的問題嗎?(同樣用woody的人應該蠻多的吧)

這樣看起來就是 mc 的 bugs 了...也許應該回報給 mc 的作者可能會比較好喔..

I know of this problem. I didn't consider it release critical, but since
there is a report, I'll have a look.

I have fixed almost all problems I wanted to fix before 4.6 release, but
the new release-critical errors are reported faster than I can fix them

Fixed. ts.check_name was only used to set another variable which in turn
wasn't used. So I removed this check and the unused code. Now F3
"forgets" directories.

But frankly, the whole tree code is so hard to understand (can you tell me
what ts.check_name is for?), and nobody seems to be using the tree, or
everybody would notice this error already. I doubt that it's worth the
trouble to keep the tree code in mc if further problems are reported.
We'll see.

我想試試看update到4.6版看看能不能解決問題

我很好奇既然原始版本就有這個問題
應該每個人編譯後都會遇到這個問題吧
為什麼package maintainer沒有試著去修正這個問題呢
而且除了mc討論區之外沒聽到其他人抱怨這個問題
還是我download到的版本比較奇怪
或者要在特殊條件下才會出現這個問題

恩...package maintainer應該是比較注意安全性上的問題呢，然後加入patch修正呢。
