有人用ieee1394架過連接兩部電腦的網路嗎?

最近因工作需要，對ieee1394產生了興趣，

有人可以分享經驗嗎?

我覺得它號稱每秒400Mbits的效率，如果能用在兩部電腦中傳輸大檔案，那就太完美了。

I tried to do so.
althought in network setup can see eth2 (the 1394) and can activate it. the ifconfig shows:
eth2 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr DD-00-DC-DE-F6-FD-BE-9F-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00

How to solve the problem? Please help me!

As 1000M lan card is much cheaper now, 2 giga network card with cross cable solution will have better performance.

It is because I just hv 2 pc and both hv 1394 card. So just want to save some money.

因為你在跑 ipv4 over ieee1394

你會不會是 gateway 之類的設定問題, 你兩台機的 mac address 是不同的吧
