i have edit ~/.xinitrc
export XMODIFIERS="@im=oxim"
oxim&
but when i use normal user login , i can't type chinese why???
(i used icewm before, that i can login as root and type with oxim)
another problem, how to login as root???
(gdm is not allow me use root!)

i have another problem, i have two partition are both ntfs
how to mount it???

把 ~/.xinitrc 砍掉，安裝 im-switch 或 m17n-env

重新登入即可

這樣gnome還可以登入嗎??
書上不是也寫要在xinitrc裡面
加入gnome-session ?

您好，請您試試看以下方法：

關於使用 root 登入 gnome 部分，您在 GDM 登入畫面就會有幾個功能按鈕，其中一個可以開啟 GDM 相關設定視窗，裡面就有開啟 root 登入的功能了。

要掛載 NTFS 的分割區必須要先確定你的核心(kernel)有支援，也就是說有將對於 NTFS 的部分編譯進核心或者編譯成核心模組，如果有的話就可以直接使用一般掛載指令和方法掛載，若核心沒有支援的話就必須要重新編譯更新你的系統核心了。

註：Linux 的核心目前對於 NTFS 的檔案系統只能支援"讀取"的功能，並沒有辦法支援"寫入"的功能。
