請教幾個 modules 的作用

我用 knoppix 開機後，執行 lsmod 可以看到幾個 modules，其中 af_packet、ds、rtc 這三個 modules 的作用是什麼呢？謝謝！

af_packet :

代碼: 選擇全部

The Packet protocol is used by applications which communicate directly with network devices without an intermediate network protocol implemented in the kernel, e.g. tcpdump.  If you want them to work, choose Y.
如果有裝 kernel source, 請參考 Networking options  ---> Packet socket 按 HELP 即可。

rtc:

代碼: 選擇全部

Every PC has such a clock built in. It can be used to generate signals from as low as 1Hz up to 8192Hz, and can also be used as a 24 hour alarm. It reports status information via the file /proc/driver/rtc and its behaviour is set by various ioctls on /dev/rtc.

至於 ds 我就不清楚了。

knoppix上沒有modinfo的指令嗎?或它沒任何資訊嗎?

可是我用 modinfo 得到的結果是:
