A要能切換到不同的使用者身份去執行程式.所以應該不是non-root
B要修改系統時間,應該也不是
C只要可以寫到印表機就可以了,所以我選他
D看起來好像是DNS server..當然需要root才可以使用port
E要把所有的檔案建立引索,要root才可以讀到所有的檔案阿
所以我投給C

他要是root才可以切換到不同的使用者阿..
root可以用su user ,不用密碼就切換到user的身份
總不可能每個用到cron的使用者都執行一分crond吧

/usr/share/doc/cron/README 說的
start up the new cron
(must be done as root)
/etc/printcap,/etc/cups 只是安裝時候剛好安裝到那個目錄
使用者可以自己安裝一份cups放到他喜歡的目錄他就可以修改了
印表機管理程式會去寫/dev/lp0 /dev/lp1 /dev/lp2
他們的權限是crw-rw---- 1 root lp
只要是有lp群組身份的人都可以寫東西去印表機

唔～～ 也許「 start up the new cron」 並不是指使用者初次編輯自己的 crontab。
我用一般 User ，crontab -e，一樣可以編輯，一樣可以寫入阿！
而您說的「使用者可以自己安裝一份cups放到他喜歡的目錄他就可以修改了 」
似乎不太合此題目，上述服務只要不牽涉到使用 1000 以下 port，使用者都可以自行安裝在他的家目錄並啟用阿！並不是只有 lpr，slocate 也可以。
而您說只要有 lp 群阻身份的人都可以寫東西去印表機。
設定權限方面，上述服務也都只要設定了權限，一樣可以讓使用者設定。

我想
想表達的應是能用一個非 root 去設定一個 deamon ，
A. cron ：每個人都可以設定屬於自己的 crontab 去執行工作
ntp，lpr，nmbd，slocate 基本上他們的設定檔應只有 root 才能去修改吧！
應該如此吧！
