我現在都用 Ubuntu，而沒用 debian 了。

- 以 debian 為基底，但擁有自己的套件庫，大部份套件直接取自
Debian 再重新包裝，但對 desktop 特別重要的套件，則加強維護。
像是 Debian unstable 的 Gnome 還是 2.6，而 Ubuntu 是 2.8
了。
- 安裝時間更少，幾乎只要一直 Enter 就安裝完成。就我的電腦，
只花了 12 分鐘就安裝完了。
- 安裝過程自動偵測並設定 X server、音效裝置。安裝完成後就有
近乎完整中文化的 Gnome 可以使用，不需再費心設定。
- 以安裝過程中所建立的 Normal User 為 Admin，擁有大部份權限，
並能任意 sudo 使用 root 權限，符合 Desktop 需求。
- 光碟自動 mount，也符合 Desktop 需求。

目前有的缺陷是：

- 目前似乎沒有其他 mirror 站台，對那些連國外過慢的網路（如學
術網路），很不吃香。
- 以繁體中文-台灣 locale 安裝完成後，中文化環境還缺中文輸入
法，這部份需自己設定。
- 安裝過程無法設定使用 ADSL，必須安裝後再手動執行 pppoeconf
來設定。

因為我社團社窩要改用 Ubuntu，我寫了個 script 來讓學弟能輕鬆
一點弄好中文環境。只要網路通，就可以執行他。

不過小弟還沒作過詳盡的測試，怕有問題。而且小弟的 programming
經驗極度不足（雖然這只是個 shell script） 。

沒錯，就執行 Go
要用 root 權限執行喔，也要確定你網路是通的

代碼: 選擇全部

$ sudo ./Go


可以不用重灌，再執行一次就好。

發現一個問題!?
就是/tmp裡的檔案(user暫存)會在reboot後不見了?有人會這樣嗎?

小弟怎麼記得大多數的 distro 都會如此。
disable 他的話，用 update-rc.d bootclean remove，或是用 rcconf 來開關他。
