這個月的台灣 Linux 使用者俱樂部(中/英)技術討論聚會將在 10 月 19 日同樣地點舉辦，特別感謝巨匠電腦借出電腦教室。
This month's tech meeting will be on the 19th of Oct at PCSchool. Special thanks to PCSchool for providing refreshments and the computer lab.
本月我們將在同一天舉行技術討論跟"狂歡派對"，技術討論將一如往常在下午舉行，之後將轉移�}地到 Tapas (和平西路一段 50 號，捷運古亭站九號出口)享用晚餐。
The tech meeting will be in the afternoon on the 19th. We will meet for drinks and food fterwards at Tapas (#50, Heping W. Road Section 1, MRT exit 9).
* 時間：2002 年 10 月 19 日 (週六) 13:30-18:00, 18:30-21:00

聚會的時間主要是用來分享在 GNU/Linux 上得經驗及趣事，無論您是新手老手都歡迎�[入我們，�{場有很不錯的環境可以讓您聆聽我們 GNU/Linux 專家分享出來的經驗，�]可以�{場向專家們討教所遇到的相關技術問題，當然�]歡迎您與我們分享您的切身經驗及趣事。
The purspose of the tech meeting is mainly to share our experience and enthusiasm for GNU/Linux. You are welcome to join us whether you are a newbie or an experienced user. There is a good lab which can allow you to do a fresh install of GNU/Linux, and Internet connections are also available for installing packages from Internet. You can ask our GNU/Linux gurus to share their experience and fun with us, and of course, if you can share your experience and fun, please do!
本月的 GNU/Linux 世界發生一件令人覺得有趣的事，就是頭戴紅帽的公司自行修改 KDE 的�{式碼，將代表一個國家的旗子拿掉來證明他們的本領，有參�[過我們聚會的朋友應該都猜得到，我們當然不會讓戴紅帽的專美於前，所以我們會教大家怎麼樣把全部的旗子都拿掉(當然你高興�]可以只拿掉你看不順眼的那一個)，或許時間許可，我們還可以考�{教教大家連他們的紅色帽子�]都可以拿掉唷...:p
A interesting thing happend in the GNU/Linux world this month -- a company which put the red hat on their head removed a flag from KDE source code to "prove their skill." If you have taken part in our meetings you must know that we never allow anyone who wears a red hat to sit in the front.<g> So we will show you how to remove any flag you want, even all of them! (Of course, if you prefer, you can remove just one which you really hate!), Uf time allows, we will consider to teach all of you guys to remove their red hat from their head. lol :p

Do not worry about being on time - just turn up at any time and enjoy the fun! But don't forget to bring your necessary items,eg: cdrom, computer... etc
