先前使用 stable 的版本 ATI 的 fglrx 可以正常驅動.

不過 最進 重裝 系統後 改用testing. 除了發現 testing 改用Xorg (幾版?)外. 當把driver 改成 fglrx 後 reboot. 系統無法進入 X-window-system.

出現

 Failed to load module "fglrx" (module does not exist, 0)


不過 fglrx 已經有寫在 /etc/modules 裡. 而且 若把xorg.conf 裡 "Device" section 的 Driver 改成 ati. 就可以 正常進入 x-window-system. 若改成 fglrx 就會 只能進入 text mode.

請問是什麼原因呢? fglrx 的版本是 8.29.6

我裝的時候也有這樣過，但我本來就沒有LOAD xtt
所以只有 failed to load fglrx

而我會failed to load 的原因是沒有 libstsc++5

libstsc++5 是在那個package 裡面呢?

我用apt-cache search libstsc++5 (or libstsc, stsc, etc.) 或是在http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages 搜詢. 似乎都沒有package 包含該 lib. 或是該到那裡下載.

WW 的部份查了一下, path都在. 只是driver改成 fglrx 時就無法使用.

目前使用環境是 debian Sarge testing (xwindow 是 Xorg 的版本)

先前使用stable 時並無此問題. (有安裝成功)


btw, ati driver 是 用 8.29.6
